This disc blade is with 65Mn and Boron Steel. 65Mn steel disc blade hardness is HRC40-44 and Boron Steel disc blades hardness is 48-52HRC. Designed to provide deep penetration and efficient soil cutting, this disc blade enhances tillage performance, making it ideal for use in a variety of soils, including clay, rocky, and dry farmland. It fits a wide range of agricultural machines and offers excellent compatibility with most popular models of disc ploughs and disc harrows.

How do I confirm the size?

Send the outside diameter, thickness, centre hole diameter and the bolt-hole circle, or simply send a drawing, a sample or the part number.

Can I use this smooth disc where a notched disc was fitted?

If the diameter and the hole pattern are the same, it mounts, but the job changes. The smooth edge suits softer or already-worked soil; the notched edge grips and cuts in hard or high-residue conditions.

Can a wave blade replace a flat blade on the same gang?

It mounts if diameter and hole pattern match, but the working result changes — more residue lifting and more soil movement. For a matched set, keep the same edge profile across the whole gang.

How do I count the waves on my blade?

Count the wave peaks around the circumference — 6, 8 and 13 are the common configurations. Send a photo of the edge and we will match the profile.

Replacement depends on soil conditions, working hours, blade material, and wear. Blades should be replaced when their working diameter or cutting performance is significantly reduced.
